ECLIPSE™:
Eclipse™ is a revolutionary new cost effective fuel additive that not only increases fuel efficiency – miles per gallon (MPG) – but also lowers emissions and cleans injectors. Designed to work with all types of diesel engines, especially Euro IV an Euro V emission compliant vehicles. Also compatible with Euro III and older vehicles and mobile plant.
Add to the bulk fuel tank or individual vehicle tanks in the ratio 1 part to 1000 parts fuel [1ml/Litre].
ECLIPSE™ Powercide Plus
A specialist diesel fuel treatment, which combines an effective treatment for the prevention of bacterial and fungal contamination with improved cetane and detergent additives for increased fuel efficiency, lower emissions and cleaner injectors. To eradicate bacterial and fungal contamination first use Eclipse™ Shock Dose then follow-up with Eclipse™ Powercide Plus for continued protection against further contamination.
Add to the bulk fuel tank or individual vehicle tanks in the ratio 1 part to 1000 parts fuel [1ml/Litre].
ECLIPSE™ Shock Dose
A highly effective diesel fuel treatment, which helps to eradicate bacterial and fungal contamination problems. Should be used where bacterial and fungal contamination of the fuel and fuel system has already occurred.
Add to fuel in the ratio 1 part to 1000 parts fuel
[1 ml/Litre].
Eclipse Powercide Plus should be added to the fuel to offer continued protection against further contamination.

New Fuels.
New challenges.
Environmental legislation moves on all the time. Within the next five years, the use of B5 biodiesel fuel (5% concentration biodiesel) is expected to become mandatory across Europe. Some countries are discussing the introduction of even higher concentrations of biodiesel – as much as B30 – while some applications already demand higher concentrations, from B30 to B100.
While the introduction of biodiesel fuel will unquestionably reduce negative effects on the environment, at the same time there’s strong evidence that it impacts directly on engine performance and durability.
Biodiesel is prone to both fuel dilution and fuel concentration in the sump.
With biodiesel, oil viscosities can change and lubricants quickly go out of grade.
Viscosities can also increase due to oxidisation.
Increased levels of piston deposits can occur.
Increased likelihood of sludge formation.
Biodiesel is prone to creating bacterial and fungal contamination in the fuel tank and system.
All of the above factors can lead to performance problems, higher maintenance costs and even reduced engine life.
At Millers Oils we’re already developing new solutions designed to reduce costs, protect engines and gain maximum performance from the next generation of diesel fuels with our advanced range of fuel treatments under the Eclipse brand.
Biodiesel makes fuel and fuel systems vunerable to biological contamination which can clog-up and eventually block fuel systems. Image below shows fillter biological contamination after Biodiesel use.
It is also important to note that when using Biodiesel - fuel dilution is more likely to occur. Oil drain intervals should be halved and oil sampling should be more frequent. Image below shows catastrophic failure caused by Biodiesel use without adjusting maintenance intervals and using compatible lubricants.
